You must maintain this average daily load of approximatly 8,000 watt hours per day with 12 SUN 170 Panels ($506.60 each) if you live in the South Western United States.
3. If you use this system without solar as a back up (UPS) system, if you live the in the Domincan Republic or Haiti for example, then you will need approximately 5 hours of utility or generator power to recharge the batteries which should then be ready for another daily outage of 8-12 hours.
