SOMETHING GREAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN FOR ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR BRAND NEW, FROM THE FACTORY, UL LISTED SOLAR PANELS, 25 YEAR WARRANTY, WITH POSSIBLE MICROSCOPIC BLEMISH, MADE IN GERMANY.\r\n\r\nI talked to the manufacturer in Germany last Thursday and they have the first 4 containers of many to come, ready to ship to us but in that conversation we realized the cells are Chinese. So we cannot import into the United States. We can ship to Canada, South America, the Caribbean , Central America, Mexico or anywhere else in the world.\r\n\r\nMan I tell you this ban on Chinese cells helped about 2% of the PV industry and really screwed everyone else big time. It totally destroyed our ability to export American made modules.\r\n\r\nI have been trying for a year to get the official rules and regs. importers must follow to import modules in general For instance manufacturers all over the world get their cells from China so do you have to get all those required documents for each and every load you bring into the U.S. i.e. you buy from manufactures, in say Germany or Spain, and they tell you the cells are made in Taiwan, but they were Chinese, you don’t get busted by U.S. Customs (there’s a friendly bunch of guys) but guess what? the DOC left it aLl up to the discretion of U.S. Customs to make the rules. So there are no written rules for the industry to follow, thanks a lot Department of Commerce.\r\n\r\nIf anyone, even COALITION OF AMERICAN SOLAR MANUFACTURERS (CASM0 members know the rules I would appreciate your help so I can play the game legally. I am also a stand-up guy like a lot of Americans. Please let me know where I can get a copy of them.\r\n\r\nMaybe this idea of just shutting down the government was a good idea at the wrong time. As soon as the budget is done I think we should just shut it down again. When times are bad your supposed to let some of your non essential employees go. I t was a great experiment for the government, a very successful demonstration. I felt nothing, did you feel anything?\r\n\r\nBecause we are shipping it off shore it won’t be as low as we would like it but it will be pretty low. I can officially set the price at :\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n48¢/ Watt, 250 watts, brand new, UL, 25 year warranty, 20 day delivery time. Shipping is 5¢/W for a 40 ft. and 6¢/watt for a 20 ft.\r\n\r\n \r\n
