Here is a photo of the panels I purchased from Sun Electronics. This is called Array 3, the fixed array. It has 3 KW of B grade panels with A+ grade generation. My total system generation is 6.2 KW solar PV, 6 KW wind, and is grid tied but can stand alone as off grid.
My system overproduces power 10 months of the year. When the air conditioning is on, power generation is even with demand. After 17 months grid tied, my net meter is well below the Zero starting point.
Grid tied are a pair of Sunny Island 5048U’s rated for combined 10 KW continuous grid feed. Array 3, the fixed array, is tied to a Sunny Boy 3000US controlled through the Sunny Islands.
